THE GRAPE ARBOR

Alan has always dreamed of having a grape arbor.
When we found this house, I think he was convinced that this
was to be our house because of the grape arbor under the white pines.

Because of the abundance of rain this year, these grapes have done
wonderfully well. Not only is the foliage bigger, but there
are large amount of grapes hanging in clusters.

We must keep our eyes on the vines because of the beetles.
They can destroy them in one night.

This picture was taken earlier but from this shot,
you can see the length of the arbor.

It is a beautiful sunny day today.
This is a first for a long time.

Ooh, that brought back memories of my Grandmother's grape arbor. She made the most wonderful grape jam! (Quince jelly too, for that matter!)
