I so love the melody of the song Susan Boyle sang
and rocked the world. I was so enthralled by her voice
that I missed hearing the words.
So, I searched for the words and even though they are not so great,
I had to smile at the last line. It read:
"Now life has killed the dream I dreamed."
Now, isn't that just the truth?
A note in my Blackaby Bible says,
"This life in a sinful world brings heartache and pain.
Yet a day is coming when God will bring our suffering to an end.
He will eliminate any reason for tears.
He will care for us and give us everlasting joy in His presence."
Isaiah 25:9 says:
"And it will be said in that day:
Behold, this is our God;
We have waited for Him, and he will save us.
This is the Lord;
We have waited for Him;
We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation."

Amen. Sometimes I can't wait! All the best parts of life here will be even better there, and the bad parts won't be at all! I'm in Isaiah right now too.

What a day that will be.
But my eagerness for it is always tempered by my sorrow for those who won't be ready.
Yes, that dear woman did take the world by storm with her song and voice.
I had not really understood all the words either.
But love your scriptures, and our dreams will all be realized in His presence!!
