I do not know which pill did it, but
Alan's blood pressure was down this morning.
He has been having these readings for a couple of days.
182/90
176/97
191/105
184/95
178/104
Yesterday, the doctor gave him some other meds.
This morning his pressure was
134/82
While eating breakfast, his head hung over his cereal bowl
like he was about to fall in and go to sleep.
He then crawled out to get into the car to go to work.
I think this is going to be a rough day for him!

Wow, that was really high. I do remember when I first started on blood pressure meds that I was so sleepy.
That picture is just too cute.
Bless his heart, Cheryl, but I don't think that is low at all. Maybe compared to what it was, it is.
Those were some high readings! That's a big praise for normal readings and a prayer that his body adjusts to "normal" quickly!
The doctor gave him Zertex and he thinks that that may be the reason he is tired. Zertex is an over the counter drug and causes sleepiness. Alan says that he isn't coughing as much today. He may have to sleep this one out this weekend in order to heal the coughing.
I'll be praying for him. Now you get to spoil him... I'm sure you both spoil each other all the time.
I haven't heard from you in a while. You didn't sign up for it but I am sending Alan a book, The Richest Man In Town. I think he will enjoy reading about these people. I hope so. If he doesn't want it tell him to donate it to somebody or something. Have a good day.
I certainly hope Alan's doing better. For some reason I have never been able to remember what good readings or bad readings are for blood pressure. Must be a mental block. Everytime they tell me what mine is I ask if that's good or bad. It's always good so I proceed to forget the numbers again. I had very low blood pressure when I was a teen. I remember one doctor telling me I would never die of high blood pressure. Maybe that's why I never learned what the readings meant.

I have low blood pressure which the doctors all seem to think is wonderful, but I don't. When I stand up or walk somewhere to do something I have to stand still for a moment or two or I get really dizzy. Since I am an impetuous sort of person and tend to do things at a run, I am frequently reminded of my low blood pressure.
But I'm glad your husband is doing better. His good pressure is what mine would be when it is high, which it hardly ever is.
